QuID is looking for a group of dedicated young researchers to organize activities and implement measures such as schools, conferences and seminars as well as soft skill training, newsletters, meetings and retreats.

About

The National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR) SPIN is based at the University of Basel. Its main objective is to develop reliable, fast, compact, scalable spin qubits in silicon. The NCCR SPIN team consists of researchers from the University of Basel, IBM Research Europe, ETH Zurich, and EPF Lausanne. The team members are experts from various disciplines, such as quantum physics, materials science, engineering and computer science.

The National Centers of Competence in Research (NCCRs) are a funding scheme of the Swiss National Science Foundation. They promote long-term research networks in areas of strategic importance for Swiss science, the Swiss economy, and Swiss society.
