Post-doctoral researcher Quantum Technology at IBM Research Zurich

Quantum Technology group at IBM Research Europe – Zurich is looking for an outstanding candidate. The goal of this project is to work on the application of quantum error correction to silicon spin qubit architectures. The candidate will design techniques for quantum error correction tailored to these architectures, initially focusing on near-term few-qubit proposals to demonstrate fundamental elements of quantum error correction, and continuing toward long-term schemes for fault-tolerant quantum computation.

The postdoctoral researcher will be mentored by Dr James R. Wootton and will coordinate closely with the experimental efforts at IBM Research Europe – Zurich and collaborators within the NCCR SPIN.
