One of the goals of NCCR SPIN is to turn cutting edge experiments into useful technology and facilitate its development for the marketplace. This includes hardware and software for quantum computing, but cover much more broadly any areas related to it, such as nanofabrication, simulations, algorithms, quantum control equipment and much more. The NCCR SPIN would like to instill an entrepreneurial spirit of research staff and promotes commercialization activities such as industrial partnerships.

Quantum Industry Day in Switzerland
After 2 years of virtual editions, we are happy to bring back the Quantum Industry Day where it belongs, in Switzerland!
The Quantum Industry Day gathers academic and industrial R&D to foster exchange and accelerate the development of new quantum products.
Large private and public investments are rapidly pushing quantum technologies out of labs and into real-world applications. Industrial actors are playing a key role: they provide the enabling technologies as well as the commercialization know-how driving this development.
The programme covers the areas of quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum instrumentation and quantum communication. Have a look at the agenda.

Bench2Biz
Bench2Biz is a yearly 2-day Workshop that helps Participants in the early phase of an innovative idea in science and technology are helped to move from an idea to a concept stage, shape their venture ideas, determine the commercial value and marketability of their idea or invention and set the ground of their business plan. The workshop is organized yearly in Switzerland.
